I found a couple of old sweaters in my closet that I was looking for over the summer because I wanted to do a craft project. Now I'm not liking the project I had in mind and don't know what I want to do with them. I'd love to undo them to get the yarn in a ball to use.

I got the first coat of lacquer applied to my bedside table. I was really hoping not to have to make multiple passes over different faces of it, and a test on a piece of scrap wood suggested I shouldn't have to. Now it's sitting on a makeshift pedestal (made so I didn't have to get down on my belly to do the lower parts of it) with the first coat of lacquer drying.

It's looking really nice so far.

I'm researching how best to make pillowcase dresses. The ladies at my church make them for the children of Haiti and my dad gave me a whole bunch of them so maybe I'll try my hand at sewing some.
