Have you ever done rock tying? It looks pretty...but what do you do with them after?

I have never heard of it! The right shape rock could be mistaken for a decorated egg. With less breakage & could withstand being worked on better.
Is there a way to link rocks? Maybe take a piece of that leather cord & continue on. Be a cute way to do a family I think. Mom, Dad, & however many kids. & then can add on if a new arrival comes.
