Review of Clover Soft Touch Crochet Hook

I received some new crochet hooks many years ago and finally got around to unpackaging one of the smaller ones to use since I had a pattern to try out.

This review is for the Clover-Armor easy grip B 2.25mm crochet hook.

Rating: C-
Easy to Use: B
What did I like about the item? I loved how smooth the thread yarn glided across the hook when I crocheted. That part was beautiful and made the stitches uniform as well.
What didn't I like about the item? The soft touch part rubbed constantly against my hand near my pinky and caused a blister to form. I wonder if it's latex because I have a latex allergy?
Would I recommend it to others? No, stick with the normal hooks.
Cost of item?: Free to me but around $10 online and in the stores

Have you tried this at another time? Maybe with non-latex gloves to see if you still develop blisters.
It looks a bit chunky in holding for a long time but I think people gravitate towards the softness so it doesn't feel as hard when you are holding it.

I'm not sure I could crochet with any type of gloves on because the yarn would tug on them?
