Reusing plastic spoons

I was browsing some other videos & you know how the sidebar they have other videos. Well, I saw this one! She makes butterflies out of the spoons. Now, I wouldn't advocate buying new spoons per se, but rather get ones that were already destined for the landfill. Reunions, potlucks, are notorious for disposables.
She made them to look like real butterflies but for those who aren't quite as good artistically, painting them pretty colors will make them pop & sell as well.

More ideas using spoons as well as forks & other items. Honestly, some of the things, I would never have guessed they were from utensils lol The way they paint & design them is just amazing!
 
That's a great idea. I may never be able to use plastic spoons in that way but I have tried to upcycle by cleaning and using them again.
 
This is a very creative way to reuse plastic spoons! My favorite is the pineapple lamp, it's amazing what people can do with plastic utensils! I'm not the most talented person, so i don't think my crafts would look that great. xD
