Realistic Embroidery

I was hunting down things on Pinterest and came across some embroidery pieces that were realistic in style. They were incredible. I do pet portraits so this is something I might taken an interest in doing. Have you ever seen any of these realistic looking embroidery pieces?

I've seen some before as well. It looks like it's for an advanced talent. How easy do you think it would be to do? I feel it can be hard enough to draw something then you are using cloth to recreate that same design!

I think it would excruciatingly hard!!
