Papercutting

Papercutting or paper cutting. It has also been called scissorscraft. It’s an art of creating intricate silhouettes & fragile designs. It dates back to 300BC & has been a royal pastime in European & Asian courts.
Has anybody tried it?

I haven't tried it and I'm not sure I'd have the skills anymore.

Back when I was working in Chicago for an advertising company, I was really good with an X-Acto knife and there was a contest in some magazine to try to cut out some intricate snowflake. It was an ad for a laser company that said no one could be as precise as the laser for cutting. I almost tried it but I didn't have the patience to keep going since it was a rather big snowflake.
