Origami Paper Parakeet

My mom loved birds and we had parakeets and cockatiels while I was growing up. I saw this video to make a paper parakeet and it's something I would have loved to have made to surprise my mom for Mother's Day or her birthday:

I haven't tried my hand at origami but it's really a pretty practice. You definitely need patience & good eye-hand coordination with the folding "just right".
