I used to make handmade greeting cards for my very special friends. Its invariably A4 size and is always colorful and fruity with one of my poems attached.

If you have this hobby, share with us some of the lovely cards you made. I dont have much pictures to share because I did this years before.

Years ago I used to draw Christmas cards using colored pencils and I did this when I was a substitute teacher because it gave me something to do in class. I subbed a lot for art classes so it was good for the students to see my work and then they could trust me to give them good art advice. I don't have any examples but I still have the stock photos I used so I could probably draw more if I wanted.

I don't have any pictures unfortunately but when I was younger, I used to always make handmade cards for family members. It was always fun to make them with card and different coloured paper. I used to always add some glitter on to the front as well :D

I belonged to a card making club about 4 years ago. I really enjoyed it. I have a craft room now since we moved. After my knee surgery, I’ll be able to go upstairs and work on some cards again.

We would love to see some of your work! Best wishes with the knee surgery.

I used to make greeting cards by folding a piece of paper in half. The first page would be the card's design, and once it's opened up, that's where I would write the message. I remember doing this a lot when I was a child.

I think this should be encouraged as greeting cards are so expensive! A nice personal touch for the person, even if you have to copy/paste a quote from another poet or author if you cannot find in your heart just the right words to put onto paper.
