This would be a great gift for a baby shower! My husband just went to one not too long ago & ended up just giving cash lol I love the pastel colors in here. Wonder if you can make mittens too? I know of some parents who had to put little mittens on the hands to prevent the baby from scratching themselves too much, especially when they had a wound, needed ointment on, etc.
 
If you don't know how to crochet and if the expectant mother knows how to crochet or has an interest in crocheting, you can give crocheting kits and a workbook to help her with ideas. Gift baskets with items that the receiver can use is (for instance lose fitting clothes), can also be a good git
