Do you open a business account for your business that you use to run your business? Being able to have a separate business account makes everything easy with accounting. Do you have one?

I have a business bank account. A business bank account is normally a checking account where you do not earn any interest. However, business accounts do not have any limits on transactions. It also helps me to track my income and expenses, as well as calculate net profits.

A business account will definitely help you to track both expenses and the income that are involved unlike when you are using your personal account to do business.

Normally, a business account is referred to as a current account here in my country. It's actually very good to have a different bank account for your business different from your personal account. It's going to make it for your business accounting. I make use of a business account too.

In our country, it is mandatory to create a business bank account for all businesses including small businesses and cottage industries. The government also encourage people to use banks for sending and receiving payment. This rule was introduced to stop fraud in business and taxation.

I feel having a separate account would be beneficial then you are not tapping into checking or savings. You can also keep updated on what you are buying, selling, inventory. Graphs can be great to see how you are doing.
