DIY Peanut Feeder

I see peanut feeders in the store but didn't think they'd be so easy to make. I haven't fed peanuts here as I didn't want to buy another feeder. Plus, where to hang it where it could be seen better.
What do you all think? Would you make something like this?

I don't think it's something I'd want in my yard because it would be a mess all over my yard. It is a cool idea for those who have a lot of yard space and it won't be so close to the house.
