Candles from crayons

Since Adult Coloring Books are quite popular, I thought of how to make candles from crayons. When I was younger, we took used crayons, melted them up & made candles. We learned early on not to just throw colors in together. The result was not a pretty color lol
It seems there are many sites & videos dedicated to making these. What I would still do is make my own colors by melting a couple together to be unique. Some add in Essential oils to give it a fragrance.
Have you made these before? Do you have a certain technique?

I never considered doing this! I used to have tons of nub crayons from when I was a Girl Scout Leader of multiple troops!

You can make candles from crayons that's for sure, but in my experience, these candles are not very good as they give smoke. Wax used in crayons are not of high quality.

I honestly did not know you could make candles from wax crayons. I mean I know they are called wax crayons but them being crayons I didn't even think about wax for a candle at all. I am actually surprised that schools haven't shown something like this to kids as something for crafts to be honest but ensuring that they understand it must be done with an adult. I would have loved to have made candles with wax crayons.
