I don't have an old birdbath but my dad does that they are not using anymore. I will see what he thinks about this idea. Also would be great for chipped baths & ones that don't look the best anymore as the plants & features helps to hide the imperfections.

That's a great recycle idea!! Bird baths can be really ornate at times too which helps make it all elegant looking.
