3D paper stars

I love the look of these stars! I wish I had seen this before Christmas when I was decorating the house, because a few of these in the right spot, with the right color would look so cute.

They don't look like they are made of paper due to the sturdy texture. She makes it look so easy!
I wonder how easy it would be to make them like a Nesting doll. Where you have a bigger star, medium size, then small one connected. Different colors to make them stand out.
